The diagrams below show the components of your Zip-Kit. If you are making a warranty claim, please apply through Contact Us and use these diagrams as a reference to indicate the parts you would like to replace. Certain parts may also be available for purchase through your national distributor.

Hi-Hat String 
The string is made from strong and durable UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers) and should last a long time. If it does wear through it can be replaced with regular string or we can provide a replacement string. You will need to disassemble the hi-hat to thread the eye in the hi-hat actuator. The string is not covered by the warranty.

Screws and Bolts
The various screws and bolts are metric sizes and can be purchased from your local hardware supplier. For more information, Contact us.

Drum Heads
Your Zip-Kit comes with 8” twin ply hydraulic heads which may need replacing. You can use any brand heads or the original NUVO heads from your nearest Zip-Kit supplier.
